# Decarboxylierung

Erhitzungsprozess, der inaktive Cannabinoidsäuren in aktive Cannabinoide umwandelt.

## Ausführliche Erklärung

In der frischen Pflanze liegen viele Cannabinoide als inaktive Säuren (z. B. THCA, CBDA) vor. Erst durch Erhitzen — etwa beim Rauchen, Verdampfen oder bei der Vorbereitung von Edibles — werden sie in ihre aktiven Formen (THC, CBD) umgewandelt. Dieser Vorgang wird Decarboxylierung genannt.
