# Endocannabinoid-System

Körpereigenes Signalsystem aus Rezeptoren, Botenstoffen und Enzymen.

## Ausführliche Erklärung

Das Endocannabinoid-System (ECS) ist ein körpereigenes Regulationsnetzwerk, das u. a. an Schmerz, Schlaf, Appetit, Stimmung und Immunfunktion beteiligt ist. Es besteht aus Rezeptoren (vor allem CB1 und CB2), körpereigenen Botenstoffen (Endocannabinoide) und Enzymen. Phytocannabinoide wie THC und CBD greifen in dieses System ein.
