# THC

Tetrahydrocannabinol — das wichtigste psychoaktive Cannabinoid der Cannabispflanze.

## Ausführliche Erklärung

THC (Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol) ist das bekannteste psychoaktive Cannabinoid in Cannabis. Es bindet vor allem an CB1-Rezeptoren im zentralen Nervensystem und ist für die typische rauschartige Wirkung verantwortlich. In der medizinischen Anwendung wird THC u. a. im Kontext von Schmerz, Spastik, Übelkeit und Appetitlosigkeit untersucht. Wirkstärke und Verträglichkeit sind individuell sehr unterschiedlich.
